Finding the Circumference of a Circle

Today in maths I had to find out the circumference of a circle. I first had to find how many of my steps could fit into the diameter of the circle then convert that back into metres. 4 footlengths fit into one metre so my 12.5 steps got converted back to 3.5 metres. The next step was to multiply 3.5 by 3.14 (pi). The answer to that was 10.99m.
