Dancing at the Preschool
Today Isla and I went over to the preschool to do more dancing. We made our own dance up for a Taylor Swift song Shake it Off. From our perspective the little kids liked it but I think we need to work on getting more actons and more moves for them to do. Maybe we will make up another dance for next week for the kids to do because they looked a bit bored when we kept repeating some of the moves. Overall I think the dance class is a great idea and we should keep continuing with this. This is for my William Pike Challenge, Community Service because we are doing stuff for our community.

Kia ora Caitlyn, it's great to see you sharing your love of dancing with your community. I love the way you are thinking about your performance from the audience point of view, and how you could improve it. Maybe you could through some silly dance moves in there, or pick a silly song, preschoolers love that kind of stuff! Think about the kinds of dances you liked as a kid, like the birdy dance or hands, knees and bumpsidaisies. It can be repetive as they'll get the hang of it quickly, but keep it enjoyable for them. Looking forward to hearing how the next dance session goes.
