Haiku Poem

Here is my poem for today. It is called a haiku. A haiku is a poem with three lines, the first line has 5 syllables, the second with 7, and the third with five. I hope you like my haiku.

hiding in flowers
the chipmunk eating his nuts
his cheeks are puffed out.

    Great description Caitlyn, the words you have chosen really help me visualise what this chipmunk is up to. Did you choose what you could write about or were you assigned a topic by your teacher?
