We have a new playground at school called Hikihiki. The playground has 2 basket swings, 2 slides, and heaps of climbing and balancing things. There is also a giant rope merry-go-round. The new playground was really popular at first and for some classes, it still is, but lots of people have started to find it not as popular and they have not been on the playground so much. My favourite part of the playground is the basket swings because they can go really high and they are also fun when you are pushing the swings for other people. Although these are really fun there are lots of people on them and most of the time we are waiting to get on all break and don't get a go. To rate the playground out of ten I would rate it a 6. I choose 6 because I find it too hard to do what I want on the playground because there are too many people at a time. I think this playground was a good idea though because lots of kids are enjoying it and having fun on it! Here are some photos of my class on the playground.

Hi Caitlyn, sounds like a very popular place to be. You've made a very detailed description there that has enabled me to visualise what the playground looks like, great job. I think you have done a very balanced report there, giving a description, weighing up the pros and cons of the playground, then reflecting on your feelings. Well done. Has it quietened down a little now that you don't spend most of your break waiting for a turn?
ReplyDeleteHi there,
DeleteThe playground is a bit quiter for most of the classes but with my class everyone is still wanting a go.
From Caitlyn
