The challenge was to make a 3 x 3 cube with 27 blocks. There were 3 blocks with 9 different colours. The idea was to have 1 colour on every face of the cube. I made 9 rods, each with 3 colours on it. I then made 3 faces each with 3 rods on it. Next I added the faces on top of each other to make the cube. Here is a photo of me with my cube.
I think it took me around 10 minutes once I found a strategy.

Hi Caitlyn, Well done on solving this puzzle. I know a lot of adults who struggle with this particular puzzle. I like the way were able to clearly explain the strategy you used. I wonder if this would work for a 4x4 puzzle?
