Using a Compass To Draw Circles

Using a Compass To Draw Circles

This morning I have learnt how to use a compass. A compass is a tool you use to make perfect circles.

On a compass there is a spike so your compass can stay where you want it to, a handle to hold the compass and a hole with an adjuster so you can have your pencil staying in the hole while you draw.

You twist the compass while holding the handle, the spike should be sitting in a tiny hole in the paper. At the same time the pencil should be drawing a circle.

A compass is a very useful math's tool and it helps you draw circles to measure.
